I just got back from a quick trip to the Sarasota County area, tagging along with Florida Division of Forestry staff. These two videos show quick snapshots of fuel conditions in suburban areas of North Port, and the tail end of a fire in a subdivision there. There is lots of good Firewise activity in and around North Port, but lots more needs to be done.
